There's a lot to be said about a small town. I have to travel twenty minutes to the next town to buy art supplies, but a trusty pack of candy coffin nails is just a few short blocks away at the local "mom & pop." I found them by accident in the cigarette section behind the counter while picking up a gallon of milk and a few other household sundries. At nineteen cents a "box," I thought about buying the whole carton (which I'm pretty sure the necco people don't call that particular type of packaging just so they can sleep at night) with what change I had in my pocket, but decided to let my daughter get a toy from the machines instead.
They come in assorted packaging from jetplanes to dinosaurs, but it turns out I'm a "hawk" man. I'm in Flavor Country...
